Our Story

Team Drift Lab was founded under The Drift Lab — not only a hobby store, but also a place where every RC Drifter can seek advice and consultation. With years of experience in the RC Drift industry, we have developed the expertise to handle any issue related to RC Drifting, from chassis setup to electronics and driving techniques.

Our goal is to elevate the RC Drift culture in Myanmar by building a bridge between local and international communities. We welcome every drifter with genuine experience and passion — whether from Myanmar or abroad — to become part of our growing team. Though our base is in Myanmar, we aim to bring together as many international drivers as possible so that local drivers can learn about new technologies, setups, and driving styles from around the world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to expand RC Drift culture across borders and to introduce international-level drifting to our local scene. We aim to create opportunities for every driver in Myanmar to experience what RC Drifting truly feels like — from competitive events to technical workshops and international collaborations. We want to bring in the ideas, techniques, and innovations seen in top-level global drifting, helping every enthusiast grow and experience the full potential of this hobby.

Drivers

At Team Drift Lab, our drivers fall into two main categories: Independent Drivers and Sponsored Drivers.

Independent Drivers join the team with their own RC Drift cars. They represent the team at national and international competitions and are eligible to receive prizes and recognition when they achieve outstanding results such as podium finishes, wins, or top qualifier awards.

Sponsored Drivers are provided with a complete RTR RC Drift Car by the team. They share the same competition benefits as independent drivers but use the given car instead of using others. They also must first submit a written essay in Burmese (in English for International Drivers) explaining why they deserve sponsorship and how deeply they are committed to the RC Drift community. Once approved, they officially become sponsored team drivers.

For team livery, every registered driver receives one official Team Drift Lab Livery Sheet. If additional sheets are needed, they can be purchased separately. To qualify for prizes, drivers must compete using a body featuring our official team livery — maintaining unity and pride on the track.

Team Spirit & Community

Team Drift Lab isn’t just about cars — it’s about people. We value teamwork, mentorship, and the exchange of knowledge among all members. Our goal is to grow together — building friendships, improving skills, and promoting the true spirit of RC Drifting both locally and globally.
